Brent Undhjem has developed a program that works. If you are able to open your mind as well as your heart to this indomitable spirit and forget everything you thought you knew about nutrition and fitness, there is no end to how you may help yourself. Brent has all of the tools. He is an excellent teacher and coach. His passion for helping people supercedes his own need for personal gain. This is such a rare characteristic that one can’t help be drawn to his goodness.

Under Brent’s tutelage, I have lost about 50 pounds. I have curbed my appetite for sweets and soda. I have become closer to knowing my body and mind through “eating clean” and loading up on some antioxidants. I have learned to deal with stress better. I work out hard enough to where I don’t have any trouble sleeping. But the capper to my testimonial is the opportunity that I have had to step away from medications that I have come dependent on for over 5 years. I have been diagnosed as bi-polar. I have tried most of the SSRIs like Prozac and Zoloft with varying degrees of success. I have mixed those with other drugs like Lamictil and Wellbutrin. These drugs made me somewhat sluggish and forgetful. I ended up adding a stimulant given to people with attention deficit disorder – Concerta and Adderal. I had to take something to help me sleep. Usually that was Trazadone. All that stopped at day 3 with Brent. It was my decision. But Brent was the only one there to really help me through it.

To manage depression and stay somewhat even-keeled will always be part of my existence. Thus far I have been able to manage my emotions by managing my sugar levels. Following Brent’s routine has been just a simple way that I have now been able to regulate my emotions and feel more genuine. Aside from feeling more “normal”, I have had more desire to do things with my wife and kids. The looming lethargy that I felt after work seems to only come back after I binge on Krispy Kreems. Fits of rage only come about when I haven’t had enough protein with my carbohydrates or when I have eaten too much sugar cereal.

Brent has pointed me in a direction where I now have choices. Losing weight, lowering blood pressure, heart rate, and just looking good in a pair of jeans and T-shirt are merely ancillary benefits. He has given me some control back. From a zen-type martial arts point of view, Brent has taught me a way to fight my personal life battles.

I could go on and on about how Brent helped my two sons and wife. It perhaps might be better that you just call me. I can recommend Brent to anyone who is asking sincerely how to train their body and mind. He has shown me ho I can become my own master.
